I work with children aged 2-11 years with speech sound difficulties and language difficulties. Speech sound difficulties include problems producing the correct sounds in words (also known as pronunciation skills). I am also interested in working with difficulties relating to speech disorder, dyspraxia and cleft lip/ palate. 

 

Language difficulties can include difficulties in linking words, forming sentences, ordering words correctly and using vocabulary and grammar. This area also includes understanding of language in the form of following instructions or understanding stories, and memory skills. This may relate to a diagnosis of developmental language disorder (DLD). I also have experience in the area of social communication difficulties and small group social skills work in schools.

 

I enjoy working with a range of speech, language and communication difficulties within mainstream school, preschool or family home settings. 

 

 I have recently relocated to Clun in Shropshire after building an established practice in Hampshire.
